A glorious sunny day for Kristina & Jay’s big wedding day at the Beach Club Resort in Parksville. I set up a ‘first sight’ meeting for them as they saw each before the ceremony.

An ‘interesting’ wedding this one! 
Held at the huge 200 acre Farm residence of the grooms parents in Nanoose. The ‘limo’ turned out to be a $150K John Deer mega tractor pulling the bridal party on a hay trailer!
Highlight of the day was the mother of the groom in full wedding garb driving a mini farm quad thingy about 2 miles down the public highway to check we hadn’t got lost at the location shoot.
Reception was held at the new Beach Club Resort in Parksville. Also bumped into two of my past brides at the reception…Hi Brenna (and Bryan) and Tara!

So two firsts for me today. My first Guatemalan Groom and first reception at the swish new Beach Club Resort in Parksville. Darla and Luis held their wedding ceremony at the nearby Whitley House B&B in Qualicum.
