…on Halloween, really bad timing for all the families with kids. The wife agreed to go trick or treating with our kids while I joined about 5000 other folks at Maffeo Sutton Park for the arrival and celebrations on a clear andcold night. The torch arrived being carried by Paralympian Michelle Stilwell.
On the technical side I decided to let my Nikon D3 off it’s ‘leash’ and see how well it held up in night-time conditions without flash. I let it go upto ISO 12500 which introduces a fair amount in noise which was then minimised in Photoshop.
First up though is the best Halloween costume I’ve ever seen. This guy walked about half a mile in it I reckon!
